This website is intended to provide stakeholders with information and updates related to PACE Canada's proposed 16.1MW solar farm located within the urban boundaries of Caroline, Alberta.  

 

News Updates

PACE Canada has engaged a landscape architect to address the view concerns of Caroline residents who live across from or within view of the solar farm. Please click on this link to review the landscape architectural renderings for the Caroline project. 

 

PACE Canada submitted its permitting application for the Caroline project to the Alberta Utilities Commission June 30, 2023. The proceeding number for the project is 28295-A001.

 

As you may be aware, the Government of Alberta's placed a moratorium on the permitting of renewable energy projects. PACE Canada received notification from the AUC announcing that applications submitted prior to the permitting pause will continue to be processed.
